A great electronic music arrangement trick
Ok so Subaqueous did a great job on explaining what this is about, but to sum it all up, in order to know arrangment, first you need to learn from arrangements of the music you like, but how?
the easiest way I have found to learn how a song works across time is to use a DAW and build MIDI blocs with diferent colors so you can visualy learn and understand faster the structure of a specific song, you put a song in your DAW and as you listen you draw the MIDI blocks in another track writing, intro, verse 1, chorus, verse 2, break, bridge, chorus, outro etc… I have found this to be a great idea because sometimes in electronic music its a little more complicated to differenciate a part from another part, or it could be useful to have a blueprint of a song you like when you are making your own music, just so you do not get lost (sometimes I get lost in the creative process, and it takes me longer to have order in my music).
But enough talk here is the link to Subaqueous great article, thank you man!
