Supporting the OLaGA Research Team, the full-time remote Research Assistant will assist in research activities focused on obesity-related diseases, particularly gestational diabetes among pregnant women in the American Samoan population, including data collection and documentation maintenance. Key Responsibilities Assisting in the development of data collection tools and participant-facing materials Supporting recruitment efforts and conducting screening and informed consent procedures with participants Scheduling and communicating with participants, administering surveys, and collecting physical measurements Required Qualifications Fluency in both Samoan and English Knowledge of public health and/or training in biology or social sciences Experience with data management software Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Familiarity with the American Samoa health system
