\nVritam is an AI lab that specializes in models that run on the edge: fast, private AI that runs entirely on the user's own device, with no cloud required. Its products started as internal tools built to solve the team's own problems and are now available to everyone. They include Unknown (unknown.ac), which turns any PDF into an interactive audiobook that is narrated and highlighted in sync, all on your Mac; Manu (manu.so), one iPhone app for your whole financial life that talks only to a server you own; and Donna (usedonna.io), which records and transcribes meetings on-device, writes the summary and drafts the follow-up email. \n \nRole Description
\nSocial Media Strategy Intern is an unpaid, remote internship with flexible hours. The intern decides what Vritam's products should post to go viral. Vritam has internal tools that handle publishing and analytics, so the intern doesn't post anything by hand and spends their time on strategy. Day-to-day work includes:
\n- studying trends across X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Reddit, and turning them into content ideas for Unknown, Manu and Donna
\n- designing hooks, angles, formats and content series around product updates and releases
\n- deciding what goes out on which platform and when, then handing those plans to the posting tools
\n- reading the results in the analytics tools, working out why some content spread and some didn't, and adjusting the strategy
\n \nThe intern also helps design and improve the internal posting and analytics tools so they fit the strategy better.
\n \nQualifications
\n- Deep familiarity with social media and an ability to explain why a post went viral, not just that it did.
\n- A strong grasp of hooks, formats and platform algorithms, plus the best practices for each platform.
\n- Comfort with data: enjoys testing ideas, reading analytics and changing course based on what the numbers show.
\n- Ability to turn technical products, such as on-device AI and personal finance tools, into simple, shareable stories.
\n- Curiosity about AI, especially AI that runs on-device, and interest in how products grow.
\n- Self-directed: would rather ship an idea than wait for instructions.
\n- Interest in shaping the tools they use and giving clear feedback on what would make them better.
\n- Students and recent graduates in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field are welcome, as is equivalent practical experience. No prior marketing job required.
